South Park is an Emmy-award winning show that is currently been aired on Comedy Central television network. It is an animated sitcom series and is based on the sleepy town of South Park in Colorado. South Park episodes are a brainstorm of creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and are meant for the matured audience. The show has got its astounding success from the crude, satirical, surreal, wicked and dark humor it dishes out on a regular basis. South Park episodes are topical and it lampoons a wide variety of current items of news.
South Park episodes are based on the bizarre adventures of four school-going children of the town, namely, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. The said town is described as “a pissant white-bread mountain town” on the show! Other than the four main protagonists, there is an assortment of other students, elementary school staff, families and people in the neighborhood on all South Park episodes. A few of the prominent settings on the show include the bus stop, the elementary school, various neighborhoods, shops, snowy landscapes and various business that form a part of the little town’s main street. And the fact is that all the different settings have a very strong resemblance to the town of Fairplay in Colorado!
South Park episodes are a treat to watch. The off-the-color jokes may not be for family viewing but is a fun way of spending time. The guest appearances by celebrities are another good thing about South Park episodes. They usually appear as caricatures. Celebrities like Susan Boyle, Gordon Brown, Kanye West and Jennifer Aniston have been caricatured on the show. Some celebrities have even lent their voices to the show.
