Frank Co stanza
Jerry Stiller plays the titular Frank Co stanza, a loud, eccentric and neurotic character that makes his son, George, look downright normal. Frank has a storied past, serving as an Army cook during the Korean War, reportedly gathering Unification Church leader Sun Ming Moon and creating the Christmas alternative, Festivals. Frank is also the co-creator of The Bro (or Messier as he preferred), a male bra that he and Kramer came up with. It is tacit that George’s mother, Estelle is Jewish, and Frank is not (since in one show it is tacit that Frank is a member of the Knights of Columbus, an all-Catholic organization), making George half-Jewish. Of all Frank’s quirks, his violent reaction to people asking him to take his shoes off is maybe his worst.
Uncle Leo
Jerry’s Uncle Leo is the brother of his mother, Helen. Uncle Leo is known for his friendly, open-armed greeting of Jerry Hello! Whenever he sees Jerry on the street. If Jerry does not move with a hello to Uncle Leo he gets very upset and complains to Jerry’s mother. Uncle Leo is known for being a shoplifter, and one period in the bookstore, Jerry catches him and tries to put a scare into him so he’ll stop stealing by having the security approach him. Uncle Leo is arrested and we see that Leo had prior convictions, which are only hinted at by Jerry’s mother as a crime of passion.
Aladin’s team will repaint the damaged portions of the walls where their posters had been put up
The protest against Aladin posters being put up on the graffiti wall painted for the Wall Project, on Senapati Bapat Marg, has now led Aladin’s team to rectify their mistake. The posters were pulled off, but the wall had already been damaged.
So, director Sujoy Gosh, music directors Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani and the lead pair Ritesh Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandez have decided to repaint the wall where the movie posters were put up. The team will paint the wall today.
The posters were immediately removed when the complaint from concerned citizens reached the producers. Director Sujoy Ghosh commented on the incident, “We don’t know who put up the posters on these walls.
I completely agree that it was wrong. It is unfortunate that our film posters were put up there. We thought that we should make up for the damage. Then one of the guys in the team suggested that we should repaint the walls and Vishal agreed as well.”
Sujoy also apologised for the mistake, “We are sorry for the inconvenience. If I had it my way, this would never have happened.”
