Endhiran, directed by Kollywood’s master filmmaker S. Shankar, is also is special for its choreography by Prabhu Deva. Lyrics by Vairamuthu, art direction by Sabu Cyril and cinematography by Ratnavelu comprise a regular Shankar team. The stylish director has also roped in Oscar winner Resul Pookutty for sound effects; it is also said that a unique sound effect has been created for the film. The story of Endhiran is set in the future, when new and bizarre fashion fads would come into existence. Music is by Oscar winning A.R. Rahman.

Action Replay, starring Akshay Kumar, is a time-travel tale in the 1950s and its storyline is based on an eponymous 1994 Gujarati play. Director Vipul Shah has emphasized a lot on the lead actors’ retro looks in the movie.

And finally, the most anticipated film of the year Guzaarish, which also marks the comeback of renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the much-loved, screen-scorching pair of Aishwarya-Hrithik.
